Operate frac heater.



§  Operate pump and burner for heating fluids

§  Observe equipment gauges and indicators and hand signals to monitor job activities and conditions

§  Carry and lay out hoses from the truck to the tanks; connect and disconnect hoses

§  Follow safe operating procedures according to specifications of jobs and equipment

§  Repair, maintain and adjust equipment, often using hand tools

§  Operate trucks in adverse weather; constantly works outdoors; must be able to apply tire chains to truck when needed

§  Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid or performing minor repairs

§  Obtain and submit fuel receipts, field tickets/invoices, JSA’s and logs on a daily basis

§  Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles

§  Adheres to Freedom Oilfield Services, Inc.’s safety policies and procedures

§  Required to wear FRC, safety- toed boots, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection and hard hat

§  Attend monthly safety meetings

§  Understand proper safety precautions for handling, transporting and storing propane

§  Familiar with safe handling of chemicals; ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets

§  Understand heater operating procedures

§  Understand and adhere to the safety policies and procedures at each customer’s location

§  Other duties as assigned


§  Ability to remain alert and maintain a high level of concentration

§  Good interpersonal skills and customer service orientation

§  Good judgement and the ability to react quickly in emergency situations

§  Mechanical ability required for making minor repairs

§  Knowledge of heavy industrial service materials and tools, their proper handling, storage and preparation for the work site

§  Willing to ask questions

§  Safety-first attitude



§  Position is “on-call 24/7” during scheduled work days

§  Class A with HAZMAT and Tank Endorsements preferred; Class B or non-CDL applicants considered with 3+ years of heating experience

§  3 years of heating experience required; will consider other relevant oilfield experience

§  Ability to work long hours, including graveyard shift

§  Ability to work in adverse weather conditions

§  Knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations (DOT / FMCSA / CSA)

§  Current PEC/Safeland card preferred

§  Clean MVR; no recent moving violations, no DUI or careless driving within past 10 years

§  Able to: lift 50 pounds, squat, bend, turn, climb a ladder, stand for long periods of time, sit for long periods of time, put a set of chains on a truck and other physical duties as required

§  This position is located in North Dakota; employee housing is available in Dickinson, ND  and employees are required to drive their own vehicle to report for work  in Killdeer, ND.
